Samuel Yip is the Assistant Vice President, Product Management & Media Solutions of AsiaSat, where he leads the development and implementation of cutting-edge media solutions tailored for a diverse clientele.

Since joining AsiaSat in 2008, Samuel has progressed through various key roles, including General Manager of One Click Go Live Limited (OCGL), an AsiaSat subsidiary specialising in live streaming and media technology services. His extensive experience encompasses commercial satellite communications, broadcasting and media services, ranging from satellite system design and operations to innovative media solutions and emerging technologies such as live streaming and cloud-based platforms.

Samuel holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a holder of five U.S. patents related to satellite applications, underscoring his commitment to driving innovation in the field.
